#1 Benefits of watering Tulsi devi or offering her to Krishna
Ya drista nikjila agha sangha samani sprista vapuh pavani
Roganam abhivandita nirasini siktantaka trasini
Pratya satti vidhayini bhagavatah krishnasya samropita
Nyasta taccarane vimukti phalada tasyai namah
O Tulsi, simply by looking at you, all sins are removed, simply by touching you, one’s body becomes pure. By praying to you, all diseases are removed. If one waters Tulsi, his fear of Yamaraja is eliminated. Just by planting or transplanting Tulsi, one achieves nearness to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. If one offers Tulsi at the lotus feet of Lord Krishna, she awards that person with liberation and devotion to Krishna. Therefore I pay my humble obeisances to the wonderful Tulsi devi.

Tulsi vana palaye te tyajya durato bhatah
(Skanda Purana, Kasi Khanda)
(Yamaraja instructs his messengers) One who is adorned with Tulsi wood, chants her holy name, or one who protects a Tulsi forest, you should refrain from bringing such persons to my abode.
Yad grihe Tulsi bhati raksabhir jalasecanaih

(Skanda Purana -conversation between Lord Brahma and Narada Muni)
O best of the brahmanas, if the mud from the Tulsi plant is present in one’s house or one’s body, then they are not just men but are equal to the demigods. Oh best among the sages, if the clay of Tulsi, Tulsi wood, and Tulsi leaves present in one’s residence then that house is certainly a place of Lord Vishnu.
#9 Tulsi is dear to Lord Rama
Vishnos trailokya nathasya ramasya janakatmaja
Priya tathaiva Tulsi sarva lokaika pavani
As the daughter of janaka, Sri Sitadevi, is very dear to Lord Rama, the master of the three worlds, similarly, Tulsi devi, who purifies the entire world, is very dear to him.
